It’s finally official, after a long waiting period, Nordstrom was approved to take control of QUNet from Barron today according to an announcement from QFL1’s Commissioner’s office.

The rule change that paved the way:
In the event that ownership of a franchise is transferred, any new owner must be approved by a vote of 2/3 of the league (the previous owner’s vote counts).
Notice how there is still no obligation placed on the departing franchise owner to find a replacement.
