QSN ran another keeper simulation using KeeperCommish, this time for The Deuce’s 2011 season*. According to the projections there will be at least one team decimated by increasing contracts, a handful of teams will dominate Auction bidding and several triple-A rated restricted free agents will be available at the Sixth Annual Auction in NYC.
Four teams are projected to control over half the remaining league-wide salary cap; Bombers has almost 16%, Qonies almost 14%, Turds almost 12% and PolaQ has 10.5%. Watch for these guys to control the Auction, it will be fast or slow, crazy or boring depending on what these guys do.
The Bingers franchise looks like its going to get killed by contracts, but knowing ownership a slew of off-season trades are likely. At this point however, I think the team will elect to franchise Rodgers for $21 and drop Jones Drew (currently $30 L5) and probably drop two of Colston, Welker and Gates
Membrillos is likely to drop Jamaal Charles rather than pay him $21 on a new L1 in a bid to hold onto Brees $19 L8, McCoy $6 S2 and Wayne $16 L5.
