#1 Balti-Morons – (3-0) Duncan & Kalb may be the only undefeated team left in QFL3, but they’re not exactly dominating. Only 10th overall in points, they’ve needed a lot of luck….including a win last week vs. the lowest scoring team that only put up 32 points.
#2 Ron Mexiq – (2-1) Dan picked up Brandon Lloyd in free agency hoping to benefit from Orton’s nearly regular 400+ yard games….probably good with VJaz m.i.a for the year. Last week’s blowout makes this team the league point leader, but a tough matchup this week vs. #2 in Radeck awaits.
#3 Quickly Eliminated – (2-1) This writer has some pie in his face for putting down this team last week. The response? A 107+ point trashing. Beanie is back for good, and Mathews is on the verge as well. It’s a good thing Tom hasn’t had a need to play the Texans DEF though.
#4 Raging Alch – (2-1) Last week did come down to Monday night as predicted, and Cutler did just enough to earn a victory. Not so sure Boldin will put up another 3TD game….but this team will roll the dice with Orton and hope the last remaining healthy RB (Addai) gets through the week unscathed.
#5 Golden Smoot – (2-1) Spoke too soon on Smoot? A down week all around, it’s never good when your DEF is your high scorer.
#6 Qtopia – (2-1) The big winner in the Charlie Batch contest. ($4!) Doug should be hoping for a carbon copy performance out of Batch this week since he’ll need the help if SJax sits.
#7 Qutane – (1-2) If Schaub and the Texans offense had lived up to ½ of the hype, Radeck would’ve won. Still, 82 points in a loss is tough. Will the matchup with Mexiq be a battle to 100 pts? Maybe. Wouldn’t be surprised to see it come down to defenses pitted against another, Radeck with PIT…Dan with BAL.
#8 Revenge of the Cox – (2-1) The high roller team got another win on the back of Brady & Moss. Can Crabtree get things going with a new OC? Chase hopes so. This team will likely go 3-1 before encountering their first struggle….the Pats bye week.
#9 The Rushing Russians – (1-2) If Andre Johnson can’t go this week which of the 7 $1 WRs will Nick put up? Being almost time for cuts, and still having 28 players, this may be the only team set to have a ton of money to bid on FAs.
#10 Vote Quimby – (1-2) Maybe Gradkowski really was the missing link!? (He’s in the starting lineup this week…) Quimby has always been a contender in past years, and if they can pull even at 2-2 they could have enough to make the first two weeks an aberration.
#11 Al Toon All Stars – (0-3) Came up just short last week. Mike needs Pierre Thomas to be active this week, or things get thin at RB. Doesn’t Hines Ward tend to have big games against the Ravens?
#12 Goonie Goo Goo – (0-3) Well, when you’re winless and tally up just 32 points in a loss you’re bound to be last in the rankings. Fitzpatrick steps in as an expensive bye week QB. Pray for mojo.
