The 2014 NFL rookie class was pretty strong as far as wide receivers are concerned. Guys like Odell Beckham Jr., Mike Evans and Sammy Watkins already look like pretty special players. It is going to be tough for this upcoming class to match that level of play. Here is a look at the 3 top receivers heading into the draft.

Kevin White

With plenty of speed and a 6’4” frame, Kevin White has the chance to be a star at the NFL level. He was able to put up some pretty nice numbers at West Virginia, and he is pretty much a lock to go in the top 10 this year in the draft. After dominating at the NFL scouting combine, he has turned into the top wide receiver prospect. It seems like more and more bigger, physical receivers are having success at the NFL level, and he could be the next in line.

Amari Cooper

In order to be a Heisman finalist at wide receiver, a player needs to be pretty special. Amari Cooper would be the top wide receiver prospect in most years, but the emergence of White has people thinking. This is still a guy who will go in the 1st part of the 1st round of the NFL draft. There are too many teams that need talent at wide receiver, and Cooper can provide that instantly. The great thing about Cooper is that he really does not have a weakness. The only thing keeping him below White is his ceiling isn’t quite as high.

DeVante Parker

There has been some speculation that the Minnesota Vikings are going to try to land Teddy Bridgewater’s former college teammate with their first round pick. Parker and Bridgewater certainly hooked up for a lot of passes at Louisville, so that has people excited about the future in general. No one knows for sure how it will play out, but do not be surprised if he ends up having a pretty productive career in Minnesota, or anywhere for that matter.
