Here is my (very) high level analysis of the Masters playoff picture. I’ll leave it up to one of you to analyze it further at this point….

Playoff Picture

Still in it:

1/2 FahQ or Dutch Masters – tied at 9-3

3 EMQ (I think Ten Q could potentially pass EMQ depending on tiebreakers etc)

4 Ten Q (in with a win – prob a slight chance he could miss with a loss)

5-8: 4 teams @ 6-6. MGJ / MOP / SOQ / Polaq. I’m sure there are many permutations to untangle this one. However, it seems like a 7-6 record will be needed to be in the top 6

Losers:

9.Membrillos

10 Sacks

11/12 Rish/QVE

Good luck guys.

  1. I’m pretty sure that if I (SOQ) win then I’m in because I have the head-to-head tiebreaker against both TenQ and Polaq (who play each other) and also against Mel (but not Puppets). If I lose then I need both Mel and Polaq to lose in order to make it.

If all the 6-6 teams win (Polaq, Mel, Puppets, SOQ) then Polaq will come out of the North ahead of TenQ and Mel will come out of the South ahead of Puppets. SOQ would then get the 4th seed, Polaq would get 5th and Mel would get 6th. Puppets and TenQ would be out.

If TenQ wins, he’s in and Polaq is out unless SOQ, Mel and Puppets all lose, in which case Mel would come out of the West, but lose to both SOQ and Polaq who would take the last 2 spots.

If SOQ, Polaq and Puppets win and Mel loses. All three team would get in, but then there is no head-to-head winner among them and then it would come down to points, which probably be Puppets, SOQ then Polaq.

That’s all the analysis I have time for now. Someone jump in if I got anything wrong.
