Second place QJ executed two trades on Thursday, netting the team Tennessee D and Jay Cutler for virtually nothing. The trades were not motivated by the looming trade deadline just a desire to rip off an uneducated team and take advantage of the long-term view of another.

The 3:30 trade.

QJ sends Jacksonville D ($1 Q1) and Cruz, Victor ($6 Q1)

QBC sends Jones-Drew, Maurice ($6 Q1) and Tennessee D ($1 Q2)

The 7pm Trade.

QJ sends 2016 Second Round Draft Pick

Tribe sends Cutler, Jay ($6 Q1)

QJ waived Jones-Drew moments after announcement explaining “He wanted to retire as a QJ”. In the end these trades cost QJ nothing. Cruz is never going to play again and the loss of a second round pick in 2016 won’t be felt for years, if then. These are just the kinds of moves QJ needed to make in order to continue his historic run after most recently losing Foles to injury. QJ now has 4 of 7 bench players are QBs.
