I put together a script that tables all potential/valid formations for the those players on current rosters populating it with the highest ranked player by Fantrax rankings. The output is the sum of the average points per game players. While it excludes bye week players, I did not exclude IR or PS/EU player. Below are power rankings and projections. (Example Enemy does not have an TE, so those sums of formations with TEs are not calculated by script)
NOJOQ & Quonies dominate all potential categories.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out against actual results after week 7. Especially Quonies/Turds match-up. Week 7 match-ups are also below
I have not imported previous weeks data – going to do it tonight or this weekend.

Dan this s very interesting. I’m looking forward to seeng this for our League. This seems to be a great way to assess how good people are at optimizing their starting lineups too. Are you saying this predicts quoinies crushies turds week 7?
This is the weekly power projection. (First draft proto.) The idea is to get data in a manner that allows for easy comparison and trending/reporting. If I build out the weekly historical data, you can run true power rankings and even a deviation…lots of potential. This method chooses your top players and basically fills itself in. It’s not perfect, but can build off it, and more importantly, its only a couple of clicks. I’m going to streamline it — but this was my approach to a mid-season analysis.
Based on current pts per week average and optimal choice, Quonies is favored to beat Turds in any formation. Interestingly, if I were to set a standard deviation at the average of all teams week 7 average of formation projections, only 3 teams rise above that threshold, while the rest fall below.
Dan, this is great. But I look forward to bucking the scoring trends in Week 7!
Go Turds.
And I did.
