One unconfirmed source tells QSN that despite numerous warning, Thrice’s QUTane franchise fielded an invalid starting lineup during the SuperQuince competition. This source tells QSN that QUTane, a team that has been obviously contending all season and is reportedly on its way to an all-time weekly high score, started an inactive kicker (Nugent).
From source.
Chase on his way to score 160 this week. Has Seattle D, AP, Lynch, and Brady…but started nugent.
This could be the greatest scandal ever to hit QFL Nation. One thing is for sure, COMCOMM will enforce price gouging charges on Rishi’s attorney fees.
Um, someone’s reporting skills are severely lacking. My kicker was absolutely active. In fact he was worth a whopping 4 points. Someone should vet their information before publishing lies. Does The Quince work for NBC news?
Other than the fact that QUtane (and Jason) is fine with a legal lineup, Chase owns Revenge of The Cox who started Nugent, he doesn’t have Marshawn Lynch, and Tom Brady would need to score 47 to get him to 160…impeccable reporting.
My team (Revenge of the Cox) is shielded from penalty under the QFL Constitution, which reads, in pertinent part:
“The term ‘invalid’ does not apply to players deactivated on game-day.”
Rule 20, Section 4, Article 3, Note a).
In any event, my team was in full compliance with the QFL Constitution:
“It is legal to start players that are not active NFL players.”
Rule 2, Section 8, Article 2.
