Following the earlier QSN posts about how Thrice cheating should get them banned from SuperQuince, several owners are openly threatening to “succeed” from QFL Nation.

I vote that we succeed from their stupid league. The next Sports Illustrated article can talk about how they were once the bellwether but were overtaken by the younger upstarts at QFL3. QFL1 is MySpace, we are Facebook.

What an ridiculous argument founded in nothing. There is no correlation between fines and the super quince. I think this is the old guard grasping at straws to try and get us out cause they know they can’t win. I have an idea, III issues a challenge to the other 2 leagues. This years super quince, WINNER TAKE ALL. The second and third place sq prize goes to the supreme champion. Lets see if they can stop talking nonsense and man up.
The connection between SuperQuince and cheating is simple; we all need to follow the same rules in order to compete on an even playing field. If one League is allowed to consistently field invalid lineups and the other Leagues are not (or are punished more harshly if they do) then it’s not fair competition among Leagues.

Exactly. Tolerance of incompetent team management gives an advantage to those teams that do competently manage their teams. If one league has teams that are benefiting from this advantage while the other leagues do not, then there is an unfair advantage where the SuperQuince is concerned.
The winner take all proposal is hardly surprising. It makes perfect sense to increase the stakes when you are cheating and/or gaining an unfair advantage.
A better analogy of the QFL and the QFL3 relationship would be the NBA and the WNBA.
