It was brought to my attention that the “Fumbles Lost” scoring configuration option in Fantrax has been incorrectly counting special teams fumbles against the individual player.
For example, in the week’s Dallas game, Dez Bryant was penalized 2 points for his fumble during a punt return.
To correct this, I deleted the “Fumbles Lost” scoring configuration option and added three new scoring configuration options: Fumbles Lost by Passing, Fumbles Lost by Receiving, Fumbles Lost by Rushing.
This has been done already in the original QFL and should be done shortly for QFL II and QFL III.
This will impact scores, but hopefully won’t affect the outcomes of any games.
This is not a change to scoring, but rather a correction to the scoring configuration in the software to bring it in line with QFL scoring rules.
