Only Rishi’s “super” friends can save him now
Week 2 Movers & Shakers

#1 SOQ (2-0) 205.1 pts – Scott deserves to be leading all of QFL Nation after all the work he has done to get us up and running on Fantrax. Sure he screwed up defense scoring, but amazingly no game results changed, so he is forgiven.
Stealing Arian Foster from Rishi for $30 and two first round picks seemed pricey at the time, but after two weeks Scott is 50 points ahead of the next closest team (QTang). To give you an idea how far ahead that is, Rishi and Paul aren’t even averaging 50 ppg!

#2 #Quince – Lets call Ted the North division leader for now based on total points scored. But don’t get too used to this ranking, it looks like the North division is once again the toughest in the QFL with less than 10 points (9.28 to be exact) separating the highest from the lowest scoring team. The last time #Quince beat TenQ it was week 12 2010.
#3 FahQ – The defending Champ leads the West division (barely) based on total points even after losing to QTang by .45 in week 2. How long can CJ Spiller and Darren Sproles carry the team?
#4 QTang (2-0) – Ben does well early every year. QTang is 5-1 after week 2 over the last three seasons, but finished 9th and 12th in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Fade QTang. Besides Ben may be stuck behind SOQ out of South division all year. Under any other League rules, QTang would be the clear #2 overall team with an undefeated record and second most points scored (159.38).
#5 FRNQ – Have to hand it to Jay. So far the best rookie draft of any team after taking RGIII #1 overall, Alfred Morris #12 overall and Alshon Jeffrey #14 overall.
#6 QJ – Why is this team called Quintorris Jones? Quintorris Jones isn’t even on Quintorris Jones’ team. QTang owns him. Odd but it looks like team plans to bench Gronkowski in week 3 against OrigQ.
#7 TenQ – This year’s clear pre-season favorite wouldn’t even make the playoffs if the season ended today. Last year’s runner-up is literally stacked with pro-bowlers though so I don’t expect this ranking to stick. The starting lineup is so good it reminds many veterans of QUnet’s 2003 team that went 12-1 in the regular season and easily won Quince Bowl-V 110 to 96 over, you guessed it, TenQ. QUNet scored 1,096 regular season points (or 84.3 ppg average) that year with their only loss coming to Queef in week 10 (87-53).

To see how the two teams stack up, lets compare some numbers.

This was 2003 QUnet’s Championship starting lineup (minus Elam and Saints D) with pre-season rank (from the huddle) and salary/contract.
#4 Priest Holmes $18 L2
#8 Marvin Harrison $26 L8
#12 Randy Moss $23 L1
#16 Jamal Lewis $6 L3
#39 Hines Ward $2 L3
#82 Steve McNair $3 L3

These were 2012 TenQ’s keepers with with pre-season rank (from FantasyPros.com) and salary/contract
#3 LeSean McCoy $20 Q1
#5 Calvin Johnson $23 Q3
#9 Drew Brees $12 Q2
#11 DeMarco Murray $2 R2
#19 AJ Green $4 R2
#49 Antonio Gates $4 Q7
#61 Eric Decker $5 Q2

As you can see, QUnet owned 25% of the top 16 players and 5 of the top 82 overall. In comparison, TenQ owns 26% of the top 19 players and 7 of the top 61 overall. After two weeks TenQ is not living up to the hype.

A race to the bottom of the dignity rankings
#8 QU – Too early to judge last season’s fourth best team. Hans put up 83 points and lost week 1. Peyton for $12 looks like a genius move now. Once Ryan Mathews comes back, this team will challenge QTang for second best in the South division.
#9 QBC –There is no reason for the team to have the #8 overall scoring player (#4 among QBs) on their bench every week. Look for QBC to try and trade Eli (or Romo) if they are smart (hint: they are not as evidenced by their starting Greg Olsen over Owen Daniels the last two weeks and plans to make Delone Carter one of their QFL Europa keepers).
#10 PQB – HUGE blow losing Forte. He was literally the team’s only RB1. The team is known to be actively shopping for a replacement. Josh still has $8 in free salary cap space so that should help.
#11 OrigQ (0-2) – Chris Johnson is killing this team. Rishi has $21 tied up in that loser. Might be time to start Ben Tate.
#12 HepQ (0-2) – Hard to imagine a worse team. Averaging less than 40ppg. Yet hasn’t made one starting lineup change. Highest scoring starter first two weeks has been Schaub (13.32). Paul will surely blame new parental responsibilities yada yada but pretty much everyone has a kid now so that’s no excuse.
