QFL Thrice is targeting a narrow two hour window Thursday evening in which to complete their Fifth Annual Free Agent Auction (my bet is the rookie draft gets done over a few days following via email like last year). They are using ESPN auction, but not for restricted free agents. RFAs are getting done before entering ESPN because of some restrictions. If you have any pre-Auction cuts you better get them in before midnight tonight.

Eric is having Rishi draft for him because of a family emergency so I will be running the room. I have never done that before so hopefully there will be no issues. Also I will have Tom on the phone for the first part of the draft so he can be a part of the T&F from that point he will have someone drafting for him. I think we can get the T & F players done in 15 min if we start on time. You already know the order. I will put the player’s name in the chat room area and the initial starting bid. If anyone want to bid on these players just put the amount in the chat room. If multiple people bid the same amount the first person to place the bid will given that amount, all other players will have to bid more.

This seems to cause the biggest problem with having to pause the draft room & back the system up. If the next player on ESPN’s board is a rookie and the timer gets to 1 sec I am going to nominate a player for your team that I believe will not go for a dollar. If you get that player for a dollar he is yours.
