QFL1 Shoots For August 27 Auction

There are about two months left before the theoretical start of the NFL season. Usually by this time QFL Nation Leagues are well on their way to scheduling their Auctions and arguing over rule changes. This year? Not so much. The labor dispute has pretty much killed all the enthusiasm in fantasy football. 

But there was a glimmer of hope today in the form of an email from yours truly. I am unilaterally calling for a Saturday, August 27th Auction in DC. We can’t wait any longer to schedule something or we risk not being able to agree to a date at all. We have to schedule now and take our chances on what the world will look like by then. At worst we know nothing and we auction players without knowing where they will end up. At best everyone comes to their senses before then and we all live happily ever after. EOM.
