Preliminary QFL-I Commissioner’s Report Released; Ted Refuses to Participate in Ceremonial Blazer Hand-over

At long last Pope Paul-I has bestowed upon us a preliminary 2010 Commissioner’s Report. Although probably filled with errors the early indication is the Tenacious Q franchise has smashed the all-time record for one-year prize winnings at 2,548.58.

The previous record was $2,120.21 held by QUnet after that franchise’s 2008 season finish in which the team took 5 skins in addition to the top prize. This is the first season any QFL franchise is known to have won the Championship and the playoff pool in the same year, but, its notable that TenQ did not win a single skin on their Championship run. The team that left the Auction with $10 in available cap space, never scored over 86 points in a game…. or under 71 in a regular season win (9 wins).

The defending champion is so overcome with jealousy……that he us refusing to hand over the ceremonial red blazer at the 13th Annual auction in DC. The ridiculous ploy for one last moment in the spotlight including faking a COMCOMM resolution follows Paul’s email below.

I’m back from the wedding/honeymoon and have finally found some time
to create the commissioner’s report. For those of you who won this
year, I apologize for the delay. I fully blame my wife. After staring
at errors in the excel spreadsheet for the past hour, I finally
figured out all the discrepancies, and the attached document appears
to be correct. If there are any issues, please notify me ASAP.

Some of you may have received notice about settling up into
leaguesafe. Please pay up soon and let me know if there are any
issues. Those people who still owe are:

Once payments come in, I can allocate winnings.

FahQ and SwineQ paid up within minutes of the email, but Ted may take a while. Ironically it was Ted’s proud achievement to get the league using LeagueSafe in the first place to insure quick payouts. Now he is a roadblock to them. Plus his campaign to withhold the Championship blazer.

Just to let everyone know I have sent the Official QFL Champion Red Blazer back to QFL headquarters to be kept safely for 2011 per the comp com’s recent ruling that TenQs lucky and pathetically lame title this year was not deemed worthy of the blazer. Unfortunately he still gets the money but there will be no blazer awarded. Hopefully a worthy champion will be crowned in 2011.
