The story itself is fairly remarkable, but this video from NBC Washington is even more so. It shows Kasmir raising his arms in triumph to the crowd, high-fiving a spectator and receiving a massive ovation as he’s led away from the court.
Incidentally, the story has already been picked up by ESPN.com, MSNBC.com and Deadspin, among others.
Good to see nothing changes as we get older. GW went on to win the game 60-58. The Colonials play St Josephs tonight at 7pm in the first round of the A-10 Tournament.
