There is a Paul shaped hole in the wall of the QFL Commissioner’s office that needs to be filled next season. In his haste to leave office after serving his two years, Paul has not yet recommended a successor. That leaves us asking, who will step in to become the 7th QFL Commissioner?
We can count out guys that have already been Commissioner: McD, Hans, Barron, Seth, Ted and Paul.
That leaves us with: Scott, Shane, Jerry, Duggan, Jim, Ian, Rishi and Benny
Next you should ask yourself, of those who have never been Commissioner, who is “responsible” and would you want making life or death decisions in the heat of competition? In my view, there is only one person, Scott (maybe Shane). Clearly the others don’t even meet the basic standards of decency let alone responsibility.
The problem with Scott is giving him too many keys. He has already managed to squirrel away exclusive access to the manager home page of A.S.S. (even Paul doesn’t have the password) so a Scott ascension to the thrown might have to be tied to him divesting the manager home duties. We don’t need Scott becoming as powerful as the Federal Reserve. We all know where that is getting us…
