This was an 11th hour deal emailed to me 7 minutes before 1 PM today. Originally, Johnny Knox was involved instead of Rice. Knox was not eligible to be traded because he already played this week.

I told both teams that because Knox was not started I’d allow their line ups, but Knox had to be replaced in the deal. Both teams agreed on Sidney Rice instead (also not started).

For all the people who noticed that Nick had 19 players on his roster on game day and for the headache he gave me….$5 game day fine for authoring an illegal trade 10 min before kickoff.
