I’m struggling to come to a decision over renewing quincesportsnews.com. The domain expires on November 21 after 7 years of use and is currently redirecting visitors here. Duggan assures me that we can transfer or save all the old files so there is no issue with loss of history or historic records. The issue is purely sentimental. Should I keep quincesportsnews.com for nostalgia purposes? Any opinions out there? EOM.

  1. Somehow I think it will be available if we ever do need it back unless there really is an urgent need to keep up to date on news about quince fruit. It was a great ride while it lasted quincesportsnews.com.

  2. Sounds like a perfect opportunity for a rival QFL media outlet to squat on that site and use it to launch itself since everyone’s got the old page bookmarked…hmmm

  3. Yeah, I think you should let it go. It’s a bit sad, but why pay if we’re not even using it?

  4. So let;s see. You have sent over 10 grand in QFL fees/dues over the years. Your house is worth 6 million bucks. And you are worried about $11 bucks per year in domain name fees. Really? Really?
