QFL2 Week 5 Review

Josh barely missed out on 3 skins by less than a point.  He just needed the Vikings to follow each of their TD’s with a Longwell XP.  But no.  After much celebration, confusion, a time out and some bad judgment the Vikes went for 2 and the tie with almost 13 minutes left in the game.  Meanwhile Josh has claimed BTB wins to climb to 2-3.
 
Nick’s Membrillos fell unexpectedly hard scoring only 33.11 and setting the new overall low weekly score we all want so badly to avoid.  Qonies were the beneficiary taking the HTH in a match of two of the leagues best stocked teams.
 
Brian takes the pole position with a 4-1 record in the tough QFL2 North division and the highest point total in the league.  He also managed through dumb luck to grab Henne from me for the (still???) QB of the 49ers (mostly because he was the LEAST greedy).  All after a week in which an unknown illness kept him sooo bed ridden that he took a fine for being late for the trim down deadline.  Brian got all kinds of healthy.
 
Reuven held on to beat Dan’s Pimps and manage to be the 1st and so far only QFL2 South team to win a game out of division.  Sooms is 3-2 and looks to have the easiest path to a playoff spot.
 
Match ups to watch in Week 6:  Reuven vs Nick and Dan vs Tarek
All four teams are 3-2 and look to take a step in the right direction towards a playoff spot and perhaps earn an important HTH tie breaker with another close competitor.
