NFL.com NewsFahQ becomes the 11th unique QFL Champion after the team’s second Quince Bowl appearance. The 2011 finale marks the 6th time in 13 years that runner-up TenQ (also fka Q/P) has appeared in a Quince Bowl. The 2011 season is also the fifth time that QTang has finished in last place although this stat is still being fully researched, there could be more instances.

Rob (NOJOQ) easily dispatched Nik (Membrillos) to claim QFL2′s Quince Bowl Championship. Nik took an additional kick to the family jewels with the detonation of AP’s knee, but still takes home 2nd place winnings.
Keith (MDW) concludes a nice first year with 3rd place winnings on top of 4 skins. He defeated Brandon (Catch) (who takes 4th place money) in what appeared to be the closest match up of week 16.
The QFL will hold their annual post-season tournament as usual. Pursuant to Rule 21, Section 3, Article 1, the salary cap is $53 and the 18.18% “levy” comes to $763.56 winner takes all. Don’t forget to email tiebreakers with your starting lineups to commissionerq at yahoo by the start of the first playoff game.
Deuce is holding a voluntary playoff pool AND for the first time in history, Dictator Doug of QFL3 is mandating participation in a post season tourney. No further details available. EOM
FahQ beat out NOJOQ for the $500 top SuperQuince prize by just 1.21 points! Over three games it just doesn’t get close than that. FahQ’s win is the first ever for an original QFL franchise. SuperQuince has traditionally been dominated by QFL3 teams, but that may be fading now that they’ve only won 1 out of the last three. NOJOQ won $250 and becomes the first team owner ever to win a Quince Bowl in two different QFL Leagues (QFL4 and now QFL2).

The road to the prestigious SuperQuince Championship, and the $500 top prize, got a little easier with the elimination of three more teams last night. There are now six teams remaining and half will win prize money. First place wins $500, second wins $250 and third wins $150 on top of individual League winnings.
