QBallers.com posted their top 40 fantasy football rookies for 2012 a couple days ago.

From QBallers
#1 Trent Richardson
#2 Andrew Luck
#3 Doug Martin

Trent may be an elite talent, but he landed in Cleveland, the land of the lost RB. He might put up 2010 Peyton Hillis numbers but there are less risky options for #1 overall. Can you name one of the Browns OL? Andrew Luck is also a reach that early. Until Cam Newton, rookie QBs never really did much in their first years. I’m betting for mean reversion.

My Top 3
#1 David Wilson
#2 Doug Martin
#3 Justin Blackmon

The Giants scouting is the best in the business. If they take an RB with their first pick, you have to pay attention. Bradshaw’s feet haven’t lasted a whole season in a couple years. For dynasty/keeper teams, Wilson represents the only safe long-term pick at #1. I understand the question marks around Blaine Gabbert, but I view the Justin Blackmon pick almost the same as the Andy Dalton/AJ Green situation last off-season. Blackmon, like AJ Green did with Dalton, will make Gabbert look like an elite QB. With the #3 overall pick, there is more upside to Blackmon than a Andrew Luck pick, even in dynasty/keeper leagues.

It is a well established fact that once you’re on that cover, you get hurt, turn into a pussy or get caught fighting dogs. Just ask Peyton Hillis, last year’s cover “winner”.

Running back Peyton Hillis, then a member of the Cleveland Browns, won the fan vote last year, but was plagued by injuries and controversy in a hectic 2011 season. Hillis said before winning the “Madden NFL 12″ cover that he wasn’t afraid of the curse, but after rushing for just 587 yards last season, Hillis said in December that he now believes in the cover jinx.

Almost 4 months after the Super Bowl, Thrice Commissioner Doug is still trying to collect outstanding debts in order to pay out the 2011 winners. At least his League isn’t The Deuce. That QFL League is still waiting to see any kind of Commissioner Report, despite the promise of one weeks ago. The First QFL paid out months ago.

From Doug.

Ladies (Eric) & Gentlemen.

I finally completed our year end report. Find below the big winners and losers. Please send me the money you owe ASAP so I can get it out to the winners. QUTANE took in nearly $1000 between skins, 1st place in QFL III, QFL III Playoff tourney, and 3rd place in the Quince Bowl. Nice work. Chase’s Revenge of the Cox took in the second most money even though he finished in 7th place overall (skins matter). The biggest loser? Your wonderful commish. Donations will be accepted. Donations (or what you owe) can be sent by paypal

Those that owe:

GOO GOO $ 103.90
RAGING ALCOHOLICS $ 76.85
RUSHING RUSSIANS $ 98.35
QUICKLY ELIM $ 86.51

Those that are getting some moola:

QUTANE $ 970.21
BALTIMORONS $ 191.53
REVENGE COX $ 519.96
GOLDEN SMOOT $ 214.94
V QUIMB $ 294.25

I have no idea how QUtane can place first and third at the same time. Im thinking thats typo.

Yeah sure he will. But I bet NOJOQ, Membrillos, Morning Wood and Catch 42 will be happy to know their Commish isn’t dead, he’s just married.
