About QSN

Quince Sports News (QSN) is the worldwide leader in QFL Nation news coverage.

The original QFL (or Quince Football League) was established in 1999 and remains an intensely competitive fantasy football keeper league to this day. [There are a growing number of leagues that follow QFL rules.] QSN has been around, in some form, to cover the events of this league (now leagues) since 2000.

Originally the site operated as www.qfl.8k.com off a free server until it was shut down for a variety of possible reasons.  QFL Nation news coverage then moved to www.QuinceSportsNews.com in November 2003 until later merging with QBallers.com and becoming a true blog in early 2010.

The QFL School of fantasy football has been nationally recognized for its intricate rules. Our rule book, or as we call it, “The Constitution”, at one point over 112 pages long (until it was streamlined), gets amended by league vote almost every year. Most broadly the league rules can be described as a combination; salary cap, auction league, player contract, rookie-only draft, up-to-10 players kept, fantasy football league. By year ten of the first QFL League there were nine unique champions, to give an idea about rule parity.
